After gardening for a few years, I started looking at local nurseries for some less popular varieties of plants and vegetables.  I was frustrated that I couldn’t find some of them and wasn’t sure why - they were readily available in the seed catalogs arriving in my mailbox every December. 

I started out experimenting with heirloom tomatoes and veggies and found that a lot of them did really well in my garden and tasted amazing!  There were a few duds along the way, like the sweet corn that wasn’t sweet and some fancy melons that didn’t ripen fast enough to beat the frost.  Being free to experiment with so many different plant varieties was so much fun! 

I was never able to find the plant nursery of my dreams - the one with the unique and wild plants, the rare medicinal herbs, and the amazing native plants - so I decided to create it!  Welcome!
